Honorable Mention!
What a wonderful surprise! My little Becca has won an Honorable Mention in the 2011 URSA Awards competition. Wow!
This year, besides the First, Second and Third place awards they also presented Honorable Mention awards because the competition votes were so close in many of the categories.
I am absolutely thrilled to have my Becca honored with this notable 4th place ribbon. My thanks to everyone who voted in this competition. You can see all the winners here.

Just 2 Days Left To Vote
There are just a couple of days left to VOTE in the 6th Annual URSA Awards Competition - "Reach Beyond The Stars". If you have not already voted, I encourage you to do so.
I really like this competition because each and every entry is seen and you are the judges. This is a popular vote contest. Your vote counts! There are so many wonderful bears and buds this year that it may be hard to choose which ones you like best.

The first round of voting will end July 31st at midnight EST. You may vote once in each of the 13 URSA Awards categories. The top 3 winners in each category will advance to the second round of voting, to determine the winner of the URSA Major Award-Best Overall.
Round two begins August 12th and closes September 4th . This second round of voting determines the contestant’s placement. The contestant with the highest vote count is the overall winner and receives the prestigious URSA Major Award. The URSA Awards winners will be announced in October’s Bears&Buds Webzine.
