Honorable Mention!

What a wonderful surprise! My little Becca has won an Honorable Mention in the 2011 URSA Awards competition. Wow!

This year, besides the First, Second and Third place awards they also presented Honorable Mention awards because the competition votes were so close in many of the categories.

I am absolutely thrilled to have my Becca honored with this notable 4th place ribbon. My thanks to everyone who voted in this competition. You can see all the winners here.

Bear hugs to everyone who voted for my little Becca in the first round of the URSA Awards competition. Although she is not advancing as a finalist, there are many wonderful and creative entries that are.

I would like to encourage each and every one of you to vote in this final round. Your one vote helps determine the URSA Major - Best Overall winner. Pick your favorite and place your vote! 

Just 2 Days Left To Vote

There are just a couple of days left to VOTE in the 6th Annual URSA Awards Competition - "Reach Beyond The Stars". If you have not already voted, I encourage you to do so.

I really like this competition because each and every entry is seen and you are the judges. This is a popular vote contest. Your vote counts! There are so many wonderful bears and buds this year that it may be hard to choose which ones you like best. 

 

I have entered just one of my creations in the competition...my little girl Becca.

The first round of voting will end July 31st at midnight EST. You may vote once in each of the 13 URSA Awards categories. The top 3 winners in each category will advance to the second round of voting, to determine the winner of the URSA Major Award-Best Overall.

 

Round two begins August 12th and closes September 4th. This second round of voting determines the contestant’s placement. The contestant with the highest vote count is the overall winner and receives the prestigious URSA Major Award. The URSA Awards winners will be announced in October’s Bears&Buds Webzine.

The "Magical World Of Teddy Bears" online show was a wonderful success and I would like to send warm hugs of thanks to all those who stopped by the showroom to see my new creations. I am truly grateful for all your comments. It is the love you have for my bears and your support that inspires me to continue creating. I hope everyone enjoyed the show as much as I did.
